Welcome to The Red Lion

The Red Lion at Stoke Green is reputed to have been an inn or public drinking house for over 400 years and was formerly part of the estate belonging to the Howard-Vyse family of Stoke Place. For centuries it has been integral to the culture of Stoke Green, and is now set to reclaim its crown.

The new menu is simple but up-to-the-minute with homely things like pizzas, steaks and pasta with some more global dishes to keep things lively. We have a passion for excellent food that we are sure you will enjoy.

Our wine list contains a wide range of New and Old World wines that suit all occasions and styles, ranging from traditional Clarets to Pink Pinot Grigio - with many available by the glass. We also stock lots of Champagnes for when you wish to celebrate a special occasion or even make an ordinary occasion special!

The bar area is a home away from home. Whether you want to nestle by the fireplace and enjoy one of our award winning ales or you are joining a group of friends for a catch-up, The Red Lion, Stoke Green will soon be your favourite place to meet up.
