The Red Lion
The Red Lion - is a delightful, tastefully restored, historic country pub set in the pretty village of Stoke Green and it is reputed to have been an inn or public drinking house for over 400 years. It was formerly part of the estate belonging to the Howard-Vyse family of Stoke Place and for centuries it has been integral to the culture of Stoke Green. Now it is simply the best and most stylish country pub for miles!
When it comes down to it, there are a few creature comforts deemed totally necessary at any time of year in a pub. Cosy nooks, comfortable chairs, fantastic service, inviting food, roaring log fires and libations that warm you from the inside out or that quench your thirst on a balmy summers day!
The beautiful beamed restaurant is the perfect venue for a get-together, dinner with friends and family or informal business meetings over lunch or dinner, infact any occasion surrounding good food and wine.
Our tantalizing, seasonal menus embrace homely, heart warming pub food and a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings is a must! We have lovely wines and thirst quenching ales on tap as well.

Dining room from 12 noon, last food orders at 9pm
